As a homeowner, you are obligated to pay a quarterly assessment fee which represents your share of the common expenses of the Cascades Community Association. Accounts overdue for more than ten (10) days will accrue a late fee of $35.00. The fee for the first full quarter following your settlement should have been collected in advance.
Methods of Payment
Legum & Norman, Cascades Community Association Managing Agent, offers the following four options for the payment of assessments:
If you are not using Direct Debit to pay your assessment, then a statement and mailing envelope are mailed to you approximately 30 days prior to each quarter or as soon as possible following your settlement. You are responsible for paying dues until the Association is notified of new ownership of your home. Please make a check for each fee payment payable to the Cascades Community Association and mail it to the Association's lock box depository using the coupon at the bottom of each statement.
Please note that the Board of Directors approved to change from coupons to statements for 2015 and future years. The statements that will be mailed represent your quarterly assessment. Please pay the amount due by the 1st of the quarter. You will receive future statements prior to the start of the remaining quarters. A coupon is attached to the bottom of the statement which is to be mailed in with your payment. If you have questions related to your assessments please contact the management office at 703-406-0820. If you are enrolled in the direct debit program, you will not receive a quarterly statement and your assessments will be automatically deducted from your bank account. You will also not receive a quarterly statement if you have a credit on your account.
Please do not hesitate to call our management staff at (703) 406-0820 concerning any problem related to the payment of your community association fee.
