Containers

ADS provides one wheeled, covered tote for each single-family residence for the collection of trash. Each townhome and single-family home will also be provided with one recycling bin. Single-family homes are provided with a 64-gallon trash can and 64-gallon bin. Townhouses with garages have been provided with a 64-gallon trash can and a 16-gallon bin. Homeowners can call ADS to upgrade to a 64-gallon recycling tote free of charge. Please note that each resident is entitled to one trash tote and one recycling tote upon moving in, and these totes belong to American Disposal Services - the totes will stay with the residence if an owner sells their home.

You are encouraged to keep a record of the serial number of your tote(s) should you need to identify it in the future. Requests for additional recycling bins and totes are accepted by phone at 703-368-0500.
